Below is the adopted 2022 Town Budget.

Below is the adopted 2022 Town Budget.

Attached is the draft of the Town’s 2022 proposed budget.
2021 Town Tax rate: $2.87221
Proposed 2022 Town Tax rate: $2.79344
That is a decrease of $7.88 of property tax per $100,000 of value.
Budget will be considered for adoption at the Town Budget Hearing:
Nov. 16th 7 pm, Pittsfield Community Center.

The Town like all political divisions has to look at the census and how the population has changed in the Township to create balanced wards.
The included Ward map is the current proposal which will come in front of the board at the next meeting.
While the line separating Ward 2 and 3 does not appear to follow the Suamico River, by written definition the river is the actual border. (the line on the map is an issue with the software used to draw the map).

The Town is taking bids for work within the street right of way (ROW).
We are looking for contractors to bid on work for:
1. Ditch Mowing
2. Brush Removal
3. Large Tree/Limb Removal
The RFP/Proposal document can be downloaded by clicking on the below link.
Proposals will be opened on November 1st at 4 pm and awarded at the November 9th 2021 Board meeting.
Questions can be forwarded to Chairman Deneys at: keith@townofpittsfield.org

For several years the address at 5622 County Road B in the Town ship has been rented by a the property owner to the Department of Corrections (DOC) for the housing of sex offenders.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Office (even though they are not required to) has notified the Town that a new offender will be housed at this residence. Public notification is required for offenders based on their status in the State system. This offender actually does not require any public notification.
The offender is Nathan J. Malcore. Follow the link to his DOC profile page.

Wednesday June 16th, 2021, was Treasurer Sandy Harrig’s last day with the Town. She was honored at the Town Board Meeting on June 8th with a small gift and the below resolution.
The Town thanks her for her many years of dedicated service and wishes her the best in her retirement.

Pittsfield is planning on doing repair work on a number of roads this summer.
A complete list of the streets and work follows below.
Work will be starting with pulverizing Meadow, Shady, Briar and River Lane the week of June 7th, 2021. These roads will be left as gravel to compact until the completion of the work in early July. The road will be regraded prior to finishing.
Patching and spot repairs will also occur during June. The sealing and finishing will occur in early July, dependent on weather delays.
The Town will NOT hold a meeting to answer questions about the work.
If you have questions, please contact Chairman Deneys at (920) 865-1200 or the Town Engineer Paul Willis at (920) 593-6854
