The Town of Pittsfield updated its 20-year Comprehensive Plan on Nov. 12, 2019. The adopted plan complies with state law and explores these issues:

- Intergovernmental Cooperation
The plan provides a 20-year vision for town leaders as they manage the town’s future. It also serves as a guide for development while maintaining the town’s rural history and culture. Town leaders and residents consult the plan when making decisions regarding growth and conservation of the community.
To develop the plan, the Pittsfield Planning Committee collaborated with Bay-Lake Regional Planning Commission.
