Seasonal Weight Limits.
The seasonal Spring weight limits for all Town of Pittsfield roads will go into effect on Tuesday February 24th 2026.
Signs will go up Monday the 23rd, Enforcement will start Tuesday the 24th in the morning.
Limited permitting will be allowed for emergency situations.

Town of Pittsfield – 2026 Yard Waste Permits Now Available.
The Town of Pittsfield is pleased to announce that 2026 Yard Waste Permits are now available for purchase at the Town Hall.
Residents may obtain their permits during regular Town Hall business hours. A valid permit is required for access to the Pulaski yard‑waste disposal site for the 2026 season.
How to Obtain Your Permit
- Visit Pittsfield Town Hall in person
- Provide your name and address
- Complete payment at the Clerk’s office $25.00
What the Permit Covers
The 2026 Yard Waste Permit grants residents’ access to Pulaski’s designated yard‑waste facility for disposal of:
- Grass clippings
- Leaves
- Brush and small branches
- Other approved organic yard debris

Town Parks Committee
The Town of Pittsfield is seeking 5 individuals who are interested in serving on the Park Committee, duties that apply are as such, but not limited to;
Developing a recommended budget and plan for annual operation, upkeep, and repair of the Town Park. Managing the park budget and implementing the park plan. Recommending such rules and regulations as it deems necessary to effectuate its duties and responsibilities. Recommending fees for the use of the Town’s Park. Preparing needs assessments and otherwise performing work related to the establishment of a parks impact fee. Creating or maintaining a recommended Outdoor Recreation Plan for the Town. Performing such other duties as directed by the Town Board.
Those who serve will be approved for 2 years, and meeting on a quarterly basis, or as needed.
