The Public Service Commision has made a decision to allow the request from the Village of Pulaski to construct a water supply pipeline from Hobart through the Township to bring lake Michigan water to the Village.
The Commision also at the same meeting denied Howard’s request to extend a 16 inch water main from County Road C and Shawano Ave, west down Glendale and then north on County Road U into the Township. Howard’s position was that this large main is necessary for “probable” future growth. The Commission held a position in their denial that Howard’s projection was more “possible, then probable”.
The Town was involved in this process supporting Pulaski’s request and objecting to Howard’s request.
In the end the Commission ended up agreeing with the position of the Town.
