Due to a collapsing culvert Hillside Drive between County Road C and Brookside Drive will be CLOSED to through traffic until repairs can be made.

This could be several weeks.

Due to the 4th of July holiday, Town of Pittsfield garbage and recycling pickup scheduled for Monday July 4th will actually happen on Friday July 1st.

Please have your containers out by the roadside by 6 am on Friday.

During April’s Annual meeting the prospect of water services being brought into the Town was discussed. The overwhelming position of the crowd was that the Town should explore that option.

At the June Town Board meeting this topic will be discussed by the Board. I have asked the Town Attorney to explain what steps would be taken to accomplish the creation of a Water Utility. This not an overnight process and the Town must be ready if this needs to be done. The possibility of another possible future sewer district, this will also be discussed.

This is an open public meeting.

Meeting is on THURSDAY JUNE 9^th at the community center.

The board meeting starts immediately following the Planning meeting, which starts at 6 pm.

Be advised that the Town Planning and Board meeting will be held Thursday June 9th NOT on the normal second Tuesday of the month.

Planning starts at 6 pm with the Board meeting to follow.
