Comprehensive Planning

The Town of Pittsfield updated its 20-year Comprehensive Plan (see below links) on Nov. 12, 2019.

The plan provides a 20-year vision for town leaders as they manage the town’s future. It also serves as a guide for development while maintaining the town’s rural history and culture. Town leaders and residents consult the plan when making decisions regarding growth and conservation of the community.

To develop the plan, the Pittsfield Planning Committee collaborated with Bay-Lake Regional Planning Commission.

    AREA DEVELOPMENT PLAN

In 2022 the Town after citizen input completed an Area Development Plan Pattern Book.

This is NOT a mandatory directive on development, only a guide and suggestion towards development styles.
